Book Wrap Digital Pattern

This Book Wrap Pattern is the perfect companion to protect your hardcover books and a great way to show off your favorite fabric designs on your bookshelf.  The Finished size when open is 19” by 9 1⁄2”, and it fits most standard US Hardcover books without needing to modify the pattern.

Skill Level:
This is a beginner-friendly pattern and also my first attempt at drafting a pattern.

Supplies you’ll need:
● 1⁄2 yard of cotton woven or cotton canvas for exterior fabric (nothing heavier
than this)
● 1⁄2 yard of cotton woven for lining fabric
● 1⁄2 yard of lightweight woven interfacing
● 12” of fold-over elastic to secure the wrap to the book
● 14” of 1⁄8” grosgrain ribbon that will be a built-in bookmark
● Clips, glue, and/or double-sided tape
● Scissors
● Ruler
● Temporary marking tool
