One of my all time favorite places to take pictures is in Smithville Park in Eastampton, NJ. Not only does it have acres of woods, a huge grassy field and a lake with a boardwalk path going across it, but it has beautiful historic mansions and lovely brick walls. It’s the perfect place to have a wedding or have your wedding portraits taken. Natalie and James got married in a short ceremony at the County Clerk’s Office in Mt Holly followed by portraits in Smithville Park about a mile and a half down the road. The one spot in front of the mansion reminds me of a southern mansion with it’s low hanging trees and gas lamps. If you didn’t know any better, you might think you were in Savannah instead of south Jersey.
I was glad I was able to capture these moments with their family and friends for them. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we were able to get some great pictures. Here’s a few more of their day.
